These filters are used either in suction or in delivery pipe lines of a pump. These filters to suspended particles in the liquid, which the pump handles. These filters protect the pump and enhances the life of the pump or other parts system.

As the inlet and outlet flange of this filters are in the same line, this can be conveniently mounted between the pipe line flanges. The filter lid can be very easily opened and the strainer element can be periodically cleaned, by taking out the basket type strainer element. The cleaning operation can be quickly done by blowing compressed air or by washing the element with water. Cleaned filter element is replaced and the operation of the filter restarted within - minutes of times.

Presently filters are manufactured for pipe line size of 1-1/2inch, 3inch and 4 inch NB. These filters are made in SS 304, SS 316 and in Carbon Steel. Filter element are made either in SS 304 or in SS 316. The mesh size of the filter element are selected as pre customers requirement. The standard models are provided with 40 mesh filter element. These filters can be used either in Vacuum or under line pressures upto 150 PSL Filters can be manufactured for higher rating tee

The overall dimensions of the standard filters are tabulated below. These dimensions shall be altered as per customer's requirements.
